This movie is very nice to watch not only because of its animations but the beauty of its content about the linear cycle of the tons of stuffs we consume everyday. this picture shows the linear cycle of the stuffs.
- the first picture in cycle is what we call the NATURE, this is where we get the primary materials for the stuffs that the makers use to build and produce stuffs. but surprisingly, almost 1/3 of our natural resources are already gone because of the mining, cutting etc. and in US only 4% are left in their forest and 40% or water are undrinkable, that's why they go to the third world country to get the materials they needed and to pollute and destroy its natural resources just to make these stuffs.
- second is the FACTORIES where these stuffs are made and unfortunately these factories produces toxins and the workers here mostly are pregnant women which is bad for their health. and probably you are asking why these pregnant women still working in this kind of environment? EASY! because they don't have enough money to support their families that's why they tend to sacrifice their health just to survive.
- third is the MARKET where people go to shop and waste their moneys on the stuffs that probably can last for 6 months. and the sad part here is these stuffs especially the electronic gadgets are non-reusable which will probably end up in landfills and incinerators. and that causes POLLUTION!
- fourth is what they called the "THE GOLDEN ARROW OF CONSUMPTION" these is where these stuff goes and consumed by the consumers. its a bit sad because nowadays, people in the same age as mine consumes electronic gadgets that cannot be reused or recycle. and the best part about this gadgets are if the corporations launch the new edition of their gadgets, teenagers and mostly working adults buy this stuffs already and dispose their so called "OLD GADGETS" that's why our landfills are crying while these corporations LAUGH and SWIM IN MONEY...
- lastly is the DISPOSAL and the main problem in these disposal is POLLUTION! because first of all they use INCINERATORS that majorly pollutes our environment..why? because toxins from the stuffs are then change into vapor and release it to the atmosphere and not only that, it produces DIOXINS which is the most strongest toxic that can damage not only our environment but also our HEALTH!
JUST A PIECE OF ADVICE for the scientist, inventors and makers of these stuffs and gadgets....please help our environment and why not invent and design a product that can help our environment. invent a more green and sustainable products for us to lessen our worries about our great environment! THANKS! :D
